The laser scanning detection system is a kind of non-contact measurement system. It cannot interfere with measured object in the measurement. The system is suitable for high temperature, easy deformation, moving or vibrating objects to dynamic measurement. Now it is widely used in the field of high-accuracy detecting.This paper discussed the related technologies of the system and introduced the overall composition. The operating principle of each subsystem has been expounded. To design the each subsystem, the overall system can be assembled and set up. The core frequency can be frequency-doubled to hundreds of megabytes with utilizing the advantages of integrating phase-locked loop of inner FPGA. A high frequency pulse counter has been designed and the stable pulsed drive scanning motor can be produced by use of frequency splitting of FPGA. The system can overcome the instability of traditional counter on the scanning motor drive, and improve the measurement accuracy of detection system. At the same time, each subsystem has been designed, assembled and debugged.By analyzing the errors of mechanical system, optical system and electric control system, the influence of measurement accuracy caused by errors has been discussed in the laser scanning detection system. The larger influence of errors have been controlled and corrected. After experimental verification, the measurement range of system is0.1-20mm and the repeatable accuracy is controlled in±2μm. The parameters are satisfied to the design requirements.
