The light screen measuring technology is widely used in the test field of exterior ballistic parameter of the small caliber projectiles. It has high accuracy and its measurement is simple. But there are still some shortcomings, such as detection screen small and its complex structure, and these issues restrict further development. To solve these problems, the construction way of detection screens was proposed in this paper. The emitting light sources and detection receiver unit of the laser light screen is designed; the detection capability of the laser light screen was studied, while the detection circuit is optimized. The content of this paper provides the foundation of theoretical analysis and the basis of engineering practice for the actual design of the laser light screen.For the above questions in the light screen measuring technology, this paper presents a new construction way of detection screen, and conducts related research for the detection performance and detection circuit of the system. Based on the principle of light screen, the structure of four screen laser light screen was built, the detection target was detail designed. The method of the emission light source was proposed, the detection blind were analyzed in this situation. The light intensity distribution model within detection screen was established. The rationality of design for the emission light source design has validation. The general design methods for detection circuit were proposed. Based on the optical characteristics of photoelectric detectors and the testing blind spots near photoelectric detectors, the design method for detection received part was proposed. The detection sensitivity model and the SNR model of detection system was derived, and its main effect factors were analyzed through calculation and simulation effect; Combined with the detection sensitivity model, the SNR model of detection system and the detection principle of the laser light screen, the detection performance and its influence factors of laser light screen were analyzed. According to the requirements laser light screen detection system, the detect circuit of laser light screen system was designed. In addition, the Band-pass filter circuit was designed to limit noise of detection systems, and the anti-interference circuit was designed to eliminate the interference caused by fluorescent lamp.By building the platform of experiment to verify the theoretical analysis part and the reasonableness of design for hardware circuit. According to the experimental results, the light screens of laser light screen system can realize the reliable detection for the flying targets, and the test results for the detection sensitivity are also consistent with the foregoing analysis, which verified the construction way of detection screens is reasonable.
