Large-span stadium buildings are unique due to the complex shape of the building’sroof, and are often regarded as the landmark buildings of a country or region. With thecontinuous development of society, most of the sports centers are in the form of stadiumbuilding, and little further on a single stadium planning. Studying of wind loads on largespan stadiums buildings, analysis of wind load characteristics do not only need to do theresearch of wind load distribution of the stadium without surrounding buildings affected,also requires to do the research of mutual interference effects of wind load distributionbetween the stadiums buildings. Current building load specification in China, onlycommon single building in the form of wind load design parameters are clear andspecific provisions, and such complex shape stadiums buildings wind load designmethod is not effective views by it. Therefore, stadiums buildings wind load distributionanalysis has become particularly important research topic, and it provides a strongtheoretical basis of wind resistant design for such forms of building groups.Huludao City Sports Center buildings are regarded as practical engineeringbackground for the study of wind load distribution. First of all, with numericalsimulation. The stadium roof structure of the flow around a wind farm in the case of nosurrounding buildings interference is analyzed. Chose FLUENT computing platformsand computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technology, analyze the impact of differentwind angles of the stadium roof structure of the surface wind load distribution with SSTk-ω turbulence physics model. Second, considering the impact of interference stadiumon wind pressure distribution of the stadium roof structure, analysis stadium roofstructure wind load with the numerical simulation method, and comparative analysis ofthe calculated results with the results of wind tunnel tests prove the effectiveness andfeasibility of the numerical simulation technology. And then discuss the impact ofdifferent interference factors on the stadium roof structure wind loads (including theimpact of different wind angles, the stadium opening direction and the impact of thestadium location).and analyze the corresponding interference mechanism.Be found by studying, the span stadiums buildings which are higher than othersaffect other venues of wind load distribution significantly. Between the construction ofthe sports buildings location, shape and wind direction will cause a certain degree of itswind load distribution. The higher stadium in the upstream, downstream stadium wind load has very significant to block the interference effect. The higher stadium in thestadium downstream Stadium to flow plays a very significant blocking effect. Therefore,consider the interaction between their respective venues is very necessary in the overallanalysis and design in the future of this type of structure groups.
