Before the1970s, as the result of complexity of AC motor speed regulating system, and itsspeed controlling performance can’t hold a candle to DC motor speed regulating system,therefore there had been a pattern that DC motor dominated in electric traction, production andprocessing speed areas. The DC motor was usually used in the occasions that didn’t need speedregulating, such as all kinds of fans and hydropower and so on. From the late1970s to the early1980s, with the development of micro-processing technology, high-power high-performancesemiconductor power device technology and AC speed regulating technology, thecost-performance ratio of AC speed regulating system increases day by day. AC motors and ACspeed regulating system is becoming the dominant product. Currently most of the AC motors areused in high-performance speed regulating system, AC speed regulating system’s technical hastended to be fully mature, and with the very good low speed adjusting performance andhigh-speed field weakening controlling, and at the same time its saving performance isremarkableThis article describes the overview of the development of AC speed regulating, analyses thedynamic mathematical model of a three-phase asynchronous motor, and decouples theasynchronous motor, endows it with DC motor speed regulating performance. This articleapplies SPWM modulation technique to control the asynchronous motors with vector control.Using fuzzy PI regulator to regulate asynchronous motor torque current component and theexcitation current component. The processor is TMS320LF2407A control chip, the rectifier is6RI30G-160rectifier of Fuji, the inverter is7MBP50RA120Intelligent Power Module of Fuji.The article use analyses the entire system with MATLAB simulation, the result shows that theperformance of vector control is excellent, the change of load influences the system slightly.
