It is needed to exhaust gas in steel pipe and inject pressure water into steel pipe to test the loading capacity of steel pipe during steel pipe production. The progress is realized by hydraulic presses in practice. Its time of domestic hydraulic presses is about110seconds whereas short abroad. It is necessary to analyse and optimize and carry on further analysis of the progress for improving productivity and augmenting production during unit time.On the basis of3D Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations and the Standard-κ-ε turbulence model, adopting structurized grid method and the PISO method, using VOF model which is supported by Fluent. In different time, this paper carries out numerical simulation to the process of flushing and deaeration of hydraulic press, analyzes the distribution of gas-liquid according to the result of numerical simulation. This paper includes two stages:Stage1:The progress of injection water and exhaustion gas is simulated for original steel pipe to obtain its air distribution, flow field pressure distribution, velocity distribution, flow and related values of508x11.9steel pipe.Stage2:The original steel pipe is optimized by modifying control time sequence of inner baffle and other ways to reduce period.
