The Outdoor Environment Research Of Intellectuals’ Residence Under The Influence Of Scholar Culture

Scholar culture as the culture of a kind of hierarchy, it has self-evident effects on the traditional Chinese intelligentsia. Chinese intellectuals had come from the traditional scholar knowledge communities. Consequently, they have received a deep impact from the scholar culture. Chinese people have always attached great importance to their own living environment, thus forming a unique traditional Chinese culture of living. Intellectual Inhabitation is a kind of traditional Chinese residential. However, intellectual residential building and outdoor environments, with scholar cultural influences, have been provided with unique cultural connotation and artistic features. With the passage of time, the ancient scholars living forms experienced mountain residence and seclusion, and finally makes the intellectual inhabitation molding. Because there had been the intense East-West conflict and collision in the modern China, a huge number of changes had taken place in the mind of intellectuals as well as their outdoor environment.Focusing on the ancient intellectual’s inhabitation outdoor environment, this article discusses the influence from the scholar culture through the overall layout and construction elements, regarding intellectual culture psychological heritage as a clue. Meanwhile, the construction mode of intellectual outdoor environment has been summarized in this article, being dominated by the intellectual.In recent years, the protection of historic buildings gradually draws a lot of attention from society. This research of the intellectual culture psychological accumulation maybe provides some solid basis of the restoration and protection of intellectual historic buildings. With the improvement of people’s living standards and quality of their own, people are getting higher and higher requirements for the living environment. Been rooted in intellectual’s cultural enrichment and spiritual connotations, the research of the outdoor environment construction mode also inspires the design of contemporary living environment.
