The name of this paper is Research of Ecological Cushion Packaging Material andMechanism Study. It’s based on the previous studies of biodegradable plastic material andbiodegradable plant fiber buffer material, and research ecological cushion packaging materialwith the new methods of microorganism fermentation. It takes the CO2that made by yeastmetabolism instead of chemical foaming agent, and tentative research the waste plant fiberfoam cushion packaging material. There are two parts of this paper:The first part is the experiment of yeast. Through the experiment it can make sure thereasonable metabolic conditions, and establish the reasonable yeast foaming bacteriametabolic system. The experiment investigates four factors: inoculation amount, time, andtemperature and substrate concentration. The experiment show that the maximum gasproduction of0.1g dry yeast with the reasonable metabolic system is160~170mL/0.1g, andit is better than The same quality chemical foaming agent. The reasonable metabolic system isthat temperature:35℃, inoculation amount:40%, time:3h, maximum substrate concentration:0.1g/mL.The second part is the experiment of material production and testing. Through theexperiment and the research, it has discovered the method of making material. Theexperiment investigates five factors: water, starch, foaming bacteria, and glycerin and wasterpaper, and the influence of the factors to the performance index of the apparent density andmaximum compression strength of50%deformation. The experiments shows that (relative too.d.pulp) the dosage of water is700%~900%, starch is30%~50%, foaming bacteria is7%~9%, which is under the40%inoculation amount, and the glycerin is45%~55%. Ittakes a design of four factors of three levels orthogonal experiment. The orthogonalexperiment shows that the optimal combination of the raw materials (relative to o.d.pulp) iswater with800%, dry yeast under the40%inoculation amount with8%, starch with40%, andglycerin with50%. The primary and secondary influence factors of apparent density is thatwater>glycerin>starch>dry yeast under the40%inoculation amount. The primary andsecondary influence factors of maximum compression strength of50%deformation is that water>dry yeast under the40%inoculation amount>starch>glycerin. It also has drawnbuffer performance curve with seven experiments, and the curve has shown that the materialsresearched by this paper can used as general types of cushioning pad and packaging materialof Low fragility of industrial products, and something like that.Through the experiment, it shows that there is too much feasibility that makes the plantfiber ecological environmental protection foam cushion packaging material with the microbeswhich can produce gas such as yeast as foaming agent. The products can completelydegradation; widely sources of the raw materials; promote recycling; and are better with lowcarbon environmental protection. Material performance still needs further research, like thematerial components, the other additives material which effects of plastic properties andsomething like that.
