New energy vehicle requests more power and smaller size,so temeperature isone of the reasons that power density rise difficultly. Therefore researching carmotor cooling technology, especially to improving the design of not perfectcooling water jacket to reduce motor vehicle temperature, making the motor besafe and stable operation is important.Using fluid dynamics theory and heat transfer theory,this paper proposeincrease heat dissipation ball in the bottom of the envisaged. By building a waterpipe model, comparing the impact of add heat ball and do not add heat ball tooutlet temperature,proving that add heat dissipation ball cooling effect is better,in order to reduce the water resistance, proposing the way that rounded waterwayturning, the simulation experiment show that this method is proper. These twoideas for the better design of motor cooling jacket is improve in detail.This paper use LDCM105-4,45kW car water-cooled motor as an example,we calculate loss of the motor part of the iron loss, copper loss, etc, the loss willbe converted into corresponding parts of the power density.Later, the stator andits three-dimensional model of the water jacket is established, model issplited,using the power density, materials, fluid domain, the exit velocity, inletvelocity boundary conditions into calculate the temperature change figure andtraffic distribution of the existing laboratory model. Simulation results revealsome pitfalls of original model, I improve on the model and propose a newmodel,the two models are compared,the result show that the new designmodel is stronger in cooling capacity. The new model of the proposedimprovements for better the design motor cooling water jacket on the whole.Ialso use new design model for sample,researching the influence of the motorcooling system of the fluid flow rate on the temperature distribution in motor, onthe same basis in the flow and a heat source, changes in water velocity, the relationship between the fluid velocity and the temperature of the motor withincurve.Finally, the combination of the research results of this paper in detail andoverall, comprehensive analysis, the advantages of the collection, based on a newdesign model, I put forward a kind of update model assumption.
