As an indispensable foundation for the system components, electronic connector is animportant part of the system. High-speed transmission connector plays the role of turning onand turning off the high-frequency signal, the application of high speed transmissionconnector is more and more widely. But the signal integrity (SI) testing of high-speedtransmission connector is a key problem we face, the signal integrity to some extentdetermines the reliability of high-speed transmission connector quality, so the test accuracy isvery important. It is difficult to truly reflect the performance of high-speed transmissionconnector, unable to meet the high reliable applications requirements, owing to the testingmethods of high-speed transmission connector are not uniform test standards in the actualtesting work. In this paper, Based on the time domain reflectometry (TDR) testing technologystudy of high-speed transmission connector performance, put forward the feasible solution.The thesis solved a series of problems about the test fixture, calibration, connection and so on,formed the connector high-speed transmission performance test method, and then establishedthe high-speed transmission test platform based on TDR, ultimately the connector high-speedtransmission performance test. This test technology can help the product researching and forma good guideline. It is also shorting product development cycle, improving efficiency and thedetection level of the industry, reducing testing cycle of the factory.
