Cement mixing pile method has been wildly used in highway soft ground treatmentSince it has many advantages including in simplicity of operation, maturation of equipmentand economic cost. However, there are some problems in testing and evaluating itsconstruction quality.In current specification, besides the other methods, the main way of detection is drillcores for compressive strength test, which the sample rate is3%to5%. The results of the testare reliable and easy to control the quality. But there are still some problems: the big workload,low efficiency, long ages of the piles and the high cost. Combined with the trend of thedevelopment of the cement mixing pile quality detection technology, according to thecharacteristics of the regional geological conditions, to establish a rapid detection andevaluation method of regional appears are very important.This paper is about Huanggang to Huashan highway project in Guangdong province,based on the project of cement mixing pile construction engineering quality test andevaluation, through the indoor test to prove the feasibility, selecting the static sounding conetip resistance to be the quality testing, establishing cone tip resistance and28d unconfinedcompressive strength test models, finally found that the cone tip resistance and compressivestrength of the linear relationship is much more clearer and stabler in the period of7d. So incombination with the construction scenes, considering the rapid detection evaluation must bepossess the strong operational feasibility, so it will select the7d period.Base on the results in this paper, in combination with the7d static sounding cone tipresistance and28d compressive strength formula of linear relationship, through the furtherresearch and analysis adopting the7d static cone tip resistance data, we can distinguish thedifferent soil pile quality, it aslo evaluates the strength, the body uniformity, the integrity andthe length of the pile, almost achieves the research goal among the rapid detection andevaluation of highway cement mixing pile construction quality method.
