With the development of missile test mission, in order to better test the missileand finalize the design, it is must to get the complete telemetry data, especially thetelemetry data at low altitude (10meters blow). In order to solve this problem, wedeveloped the cellular telemetry system in S-band independently, the system enhanceour capability to get the complete telemetry data especially the data at a10meters lowaltitude. The part of receiver is designed with digital module, and uses WindowsXPoperation system to design the software so that it can be developed and upgradeconveniently. The main work of this thesis was described as the followings:The hardware based on design method of digital modularization, it raised theintegration level and digitizing level, this method also raised the system’s reliabilityand stability, it can also made the system portable. On the side of decode, the portablelow altitude telemetry system used digital decode card, so that it made this systemintelligentialize, single-boarded, high integration and functionality level, as well assteady performance. The control system was based on telemetry numerical control card,this realized setting up the parameter of frequency, tape width of the receiver, as wellas setting up the parameter of the demodulator. On base of describing the make ups ofthis portable low altitude telemetry system, this thesis made a comparison of differentintegrated cards and has chosen the best one which was suited for the system. To thoseintegrated cards that can not be bought on the market, this thesis designed andmanufactured them.The software based on WindowsXP operate system, developed in Visual C++6.0.It realizes the parameters set of every module, and the important states real timemonitor. The interface is amity and beauty. It is simple and convenient to operate andrun steadily and reliably.The portable low altitude telemetry system has an excellent performance, it hassmall volume and low weight so that it can be portable, it can also be easy unfolded,the module design method made the system has a strong ability to avoid the sand blown by the wind, so that it can suit the odious environment of the firing range.Certificated by many times of experiment mission, this system can receive, decode andrecord the telemetry signals before the missile down to the ground, at the same time, italso resolved the problems that big telemetry equipment has: unflexible layout planand low ability to receive telemetry signals from low altitude. On situation of thefollowings: there is no drive way to the falling location of the missile so that bigtelemetry equipment can not get into, but the experiment mission cares about thetelemetry signals10meters high above the ground, adopted the portable low altitudetelemetry equipment manufactured in this thesis can solve this problem perfectly. Byachievement of manufacturing this system, the problem that telemetry signals10meters high above the ground was hard to receive is solved.
