With the rapid development of power grid in San Ming recent years, the grid sizeand the scope of networking are larger and larger. To analysis and research the operationof power grid is particularly important as well as in a variety of disturbances andperformance under fault conditions. In recent years, a number of network incidentsoccurred reminded us the importance of the safe operation of power grid. However, thecurrent grid in San Ming has not included the DTS systems, which means it cannotsatisfy the requirement of joint anti-accident maneuver and make the exercise of actualpower incident handling processes and the experiment very different. So to design aregional power grid actual dispatcher training simulator system that can do dispatcherbusiness skills training, power flow calculation, static and dynamic stability analysis ofthe grid is increasingly urgent and meet the developing needs of the grid.DTS system can simulate a variety of static and dynamic power response andincident recovery process, so that the dispatcher can simulate the situation of switchingoperation of power systems, incident handling and recovery control as the real powergrid. The San Ming dispatcher training simulator system establishes various models andrealistic reproduction of the real environment of grid operation by data acquisitionprovided by EMS system. The system can calculate the normal power flow of the gridunder various fault conditions and do dynamic static simulation. Meanwhile, the systemis l based on the Windows operating system, can be used alone, or as a distributedsystem running. The system uses a full dynamic simulation algorithm to simulate thereal actual process of the power system. The time domain is wide and the description ofthe phenomenon is vivid. The system is based on modular organization of the software,the software system includes three modules: a server, calculate server, HMI. Via anetwork connection being an organic whole, the system main equipment used by thehardware include: one server, the instructor machine, one trainees machine.The system will eventually be able to make all power plants, substations and DTSserver connected in the region, while the county DTS and the city DTS systems can beconnected through joint exercises, so that the scope of application of the system can be extended to the whole region grid. After put into operation, the software achieved goodresult in many joint anti-accident maneuvers and the purpose that the entire grid willattend the maneuvers. After a year of development, the various functions of the systemmeet actual needs and achieve the goal for practical use.
