The analysis of the method for the ship deformation measurement is submitted, thismethod is based on the installing of the fiber optic gyro in various points of the object. Theapplication of Kalman filter estimated the compensation of gyro drift and ship deformationmeasurement. In this paper, the mathematical models of the static deformation and dynamicdeformation are submitted. The application of theoretical simulation and sea trial could verifythe validity of the models. The main content of this paper is divided into the following areas:First of all, introduce the basic principles of strapdown inertial navigation system. Usingprobability and mathematical statistics, analysis and organized the measured data of the actualship sea trials, and then asked the mathematical model of the marine fiber optic gyroscopeconstant value and the random drift, the hull static and dynamic deformation, and to lay atheoretical foundation for the subsequent chapters of this paper.Secondly, the principle and the equation of the Kalman filter method, combined with themathematical model of the hull static and dynamic deformation, the fiber optic gyro constantand random drift, used to estimate the hull static and dynamic deformation of the Kalmanfilter system. On this basis, by the deformation measurement of the system simulation and theactual ship, combination of theory and practice, the final verification of the compensationmethod for this study is feasible and effective.Finally, a broad summary of the mathematical modeling and its compensation method ofhull deformation are asked.
