As the spatial carrier of building sales, sales centers for building have appeared as theoutcome of the rapid development of economy and prosperous real estate industry. Salescenters for building have gradually attracted the professionals’ attention of their forms andprocesses of transformation. Based on the situation of modern society, this paper aims toanalyze commerce and design---two categorizes of a sales center for building, examine itsphilosophical connotation and the developer’s value orientation of the buildings. By adoptingthe experience and achievements home and abroad, this paper investigates the relationshipbetween building sales and spatial design and predicts the development tendency of spatialdesign of the sales center for building.The environment and facilities of the sales center for building are also studied to findappropriate solutions to the existing problems, meet peoples’ requirements of safety, healthand high efficiency, and reveal strong fresh spirit and cultural color. The idealized anddesigned value, ecological and humanized function, and continuous and economicalenvironment of IKEA home furnishings are integrated by studying the virtual buildings ofIKEA (YIJUKANGYUAN) and the inner and outer design of sales center for building andmaking reasonable design on the inner space pattern and outer construction by combing theelements of environment art design. During the whole process of design, harmonious unity isconstantly emphasized among people, machine and environment to integrate the relationshipbetween function and form and discuss the means to combine the ideal of management andthe construction pattern of sales space (sales center for building) organically. To some extent,more reasonable constructive patterns of the sales center’s practical value are explored byadopting the experience and advocating innovative thoughts and bold practice with theoreticalfoundation. The analysis of these questions will enable us to utilize modern means, tools andthinking modes, develop the design of the sales center, maximize its function andcorrespondingly promote the further development of modern real estate industry andcommercial spatial design.
