The image of city is an understanding of experience,due to the impact of theenvironment on residents generated by residents directly or indirectly, and it is a"subjective environment” in mind of the residents.As a outward power of city,itmanifests the objective environment, reflects the results of the urban nature, theoverall level of economic and social development in urban economic development,but also the power of sustainable economic development of city.Establishing a goodimage of the city in people’s minds,creating a unique image of the city, not onlyconducive to the modernization of the urban economy,but also the internationalizationprocess can produce strong internal cohesion and export-oriented development force,intangibly transport assets into tangible wealth.In order to verify the overall image of the city in the main city of Changsha,formulating with reference to the significant policy decisions of the regionaleconomic development in Changsha city, we field survey to obtain first-handinformation after the factor importance Sort of the city image, weight analysis andconduct " Perception Index "," Quality index "standardized process, screening50important image elements, and then carry out a comprehensive study, it comes to thefive elements of public image of the main city of Changsha:①road. The old road isthe main frame of the space imagery the of main city of Changsha,plays a role inconnecting the various elements, while new important main road not widely familiarto the public;②node. Transport node and commercial center node construct veryquickly, powerfully stimulate domestic demand, stimulate consumption, but somepoor qualities affect the formation of a good image of the city in Changsha;③landmark. Changsha’s landmark presents polarization characteristics, lack of features,many landmarks did not play the role of iconic buildings;④function partition. TheYuelu Mountain, Xiangjiang River, Orange Island regionally characteristicsLandscape Island City, the public image is very sharp;⑤edge line.Changshaboundary’s impression of the degree is not high, cognition is not clear.To further verify the cognition and evaluation of the accuracy of the overallpublic image in the main city of Changsha,use the "photo map" and "cognitive sketch"method to progress the main city of Changsha’s Urban Image Space cognitiveresearch. The results show that, the macro-space structure of imagery in the main road as support to the the familiar residential area or business district as the background,population distribution center with specialty architectural embellishment which thethree-dimensional framework structure.According to the conclusions of the research, from an economic perspective andaccording to the deficiencies of image of the Changsha city, wo use economic leversand economic means to promote mechanisms to make reasonable suggestions forremodeling the image of Changsha city, to show the image of Changshacharacteristics.
