With the world’s growing energy consumption, sustainable development graduallyunsustainable. Human awareness of energy saving and environmental protection is graduallyincreased, the concept of green start getting into the heart. Due to character of Energy savingand environmental protection. LED solid-state light source gradually become the savior ofglobal lighting industry in recent years, rapid development in all sectors.The LED lighting willbecome a pillar industry in the development of the information ageGive full play to the performance of LED light source, match drive is crucial. Drivedesign and technology implementation also facing challenges of performance optimizetowards high efficiency, reliability. Research on High performance LED drive become the keyof improving LED performance, promote the development of entire LED lighting industry.Research firstly outlines the basic characteristics of LED and WLED, then analysis drivetechnology and programs of white LED. The design uses PWM peak current mode control.Combination of design and indicators, Analysis of DC/DC system works theory and controlmode, work mode then design the system of the chip. Finally Design core circuit andsimulation, chip has been successfully taped out and pass final test. Now widely used inportable electronics backlight driveThe chip uses ASMC025um BCD1P3M process to achieve, strong driving ability, lowerpower consumption, high-voltage and current drive. Cadence software platform to completecircuit design, layout design and functional simulation. Simulation results indicate that thechip stability work in the range of input voltage. The maximum output voltage up to veryhigh.Conversion efficiency can reach85%, support for multi-mode dimming, all circuitperformance indicators have reached the design requirements.
