With the accelerated urbanization process in China, concrete mixing stations are developingrapidly because of the sharp increase demand for concrete. They consume a lot of naturalresources and energy, but also cause serious pollution of the environment. Therefore,technological transformation of saving energy is the inevitable choice for mixing stationenterprises and can improve the competitiveness of enterprises.Motors are used to drive machine in concrete mixing station, actually, the motor efficiencydecreases under conditions of low load factor resulting in a serious waste of power. The authordevelop an control system for concrete mixing station using inverter technology corporate withan enterprise. The specific contents are as follows:1)、To determine the energy-saving plans by further analysis of the motor workingconditions on the basis of the working principle and workflow of mixing station; To design anenergy-saving variable frequency drive system for mixing console of the concrete mixing station,main circuit design, control circuit design and program design;2)、As boring machine of mixer often occurs due to the mixing console stuck by aggregateparticles. The paper selects the method to improve output torque of the mixing console to solvethe problem by analysis motor theory. This method is verified by using the Matlab/Simulinkmodules. The results show that it can make the motor transition from extreme situation to normaloperation; the simulation model can achieve the expecting goal;3)、The system can adjust the speed to work smoothly in low-load and load changing toadapt poor working conditions of the mixing station and to reduce impact on power greatly byusing the soft-start of the mixing console. It can be composed of hardware redundancy systemwith the original control system for improving reliability of the system, and is to operate easilyfor staff; the system is used in the concrete production. The data show that the system canachieve the energy-saving target.
