In order to ensure that the various performance indicators of power electronic devices, tomeet the requirements of practical application, are generally required to power electronicdevices will soon be shipped to load characteristic test. Traditional resistive load generally,resistance boxes and other static loads. These types of load and the load value is not easy tomodify, inconvenient; load value varies with the temperature or other conditions, theaccuracy is not high. Electronic load test device is a kind of power electronic devices,especially power equipment performance testing. With a versatile, convenient adjustment,small volume, high degree of automation in a variety of AC and DC power and batteryperformance test fields has been widely compared with traditional analog resistive load.In this paper, on the basis of full investigation and consult the relevant technicalinformation on the proposed DC Electronic Load the overall design, the paper discusses thedetailed analysis of hardware and software, electronic load control system implementation. Inorder to facilitate the implementation and expansion of control functions, the design of themain work is the use of the operational amplifier designed to achieve a constant resistance,constant voltage and constant current three operating modes. Power output devices use thepower MOSFET to achieve an output power of up to300W or more, and to achieve a higherprecision and a wide adjustment range. Cygnal C8051F020’s the United States as a controller,to control detection circuitry, keyboard and display circuits of the circuit to achieve signalacquisition system, the parameter setting and function selection, and displays variousinformation and the like.Experimental late software and hardware joint commissioning results show that thisdesign can achieve the design requirements of constant, constantPressure, constant resistance mode, test indicators in line with expectations.
