The test bed of thermal management was conduct to investigate the relatedparameters of the economy and emissions in internal combustion engine through which acomprehensive means to optimize heat transfer management technology can beapproached. Temperature of various components has a great impact on the performance ofengine. Now days thermal management was formed as the energy and environment issuesbecoming heat central issue.The engine’s thermal management system requires a lot of experimental data as abasis,therefore there is a need to complete thermal management test bench. In this paper,combining the actual situation of the subject with EQH180-30diesel engine developedthermal management test platform for the study. Thermal Management experimentalplatform is the basis of the study of the thermal management system. This paper designsand transform the laboratory outer loop waterways, design the whole test bench,installation and commissioning. The design and development based on Siemens S7-200hardware and software systems can be achieved on the engine operating parameters (speed,power, fuel consumption, torque) and related parameters (water temperature, oiltemperature, before and after the gas temperature in the cold, cold before and afterreal-time testing and monitoring of gas pressure) test data,can achieve the engine coolingwater, water temperature, oil temperature control, man-machine interface, can set andmodify the relevant parameters, can easily monitor the operation of the engine. Do anoutside characteristic test in the test bench, testing the reliability and stability of the testbench, and EQH180-30diesel engine’s ability to work.
