This thesis is focused on the study into application of non-oriented silicon steel sheetin a single-phase induction motor,then analysis and compare the results with the samemodels which use conventional silicon steel sheet.First of all, some characteristics of some common orientation and non-oriented siliconsteel sheet are introduced, then core loss of silicon steel sheet used in the motor are studiedtheoretically.Then, the introduction of the basic principles and an equivalent circuit diagram of thesingle-phase capacitor-run induction motor is given, which is useful for the theoreticalanalysis. With the basic principles of Circuit Calculation, combined with VB language,the household micro-electrical electromagnetic computing performance simulation programis established.Secondly, give a250W,2-pole capacitor run single-phase induction motor as theexample, simulate and analysis the sample motor which use conventional silicon steel sheetDR510and non-oriented silicon steel sheet50WW600、50WW800、50WW1300asmotor core respectively by Maxwell15.Finally, taking into account the situation that household micro-electrical are generallyused with controller, which is supplied by SPWM inverter power. To know how much theoutput harmonic current can affect the motor, simulation of loss and torque is made, whichis compared with the results of the sinusoidal supply.
