In this paper, FB45airport transport vehicle as the research object, first from thebasic vehicle steering theory of Ackerman theory, leads to characteristic analysis ofheavy platform truck, the truck steering mode and turning relations, and theestablishment of the mathematical model of steering mode of each group of wheelsdeflection angle.Secondly, on the vehicle steering resistance torque is analyzed in detail; analyzesthe working principle and mathematical model of the hydraulic control valve of thebasic components of the hydraulic system, hydraulic cylinder stroke was calculated bygeometric method, parameters of the entire vehicle according to FB45airporttransport vehicle, steering hydraulic cylinder thrust calculation. Through the ADAMSsoftware for vehicle steering system modeling and simulation, change the parametersof the hydraulic system, analyzed the dynamic characteristics of the system,summarized the influence of parameters on the dynamic characteristics of the system.Finally, through the transfer function method to establish the transport vehicle ofproportional valve controlled hydraulic cylinder dynamic equation of steering system,PID control strategy is introduced into the control system, the correspondingcontroller is designed, using Simulink module of MATLAB software to establish asteering control system simulation model, the simulation results show that the steeringsystem PID is used to control the steering wheel set transient has faster the responseand no overshoot, the Steering transient response performance of wheel set stable, ithas important theoretical significance and practical value.
