Cross-prestressed concrete pavement is famous for its high carrying capacity, less joints,durability, continuous construction. It is becoming one of the "safe, comfortable,environmental protective, economical" long-life pavement which has a broad developmentprospects. Sliding layer can effectively reduce the lost of prestress and temperature stressapplied in cross-prestressed concrete pavement, and realize super long road slab.Setting sliding layer, one kind of new science and technology, has been used in nationalstandard specification, but without much research on its application. In engineering practice,the sliding layer is mainly used in prefabricated cement concrete pavement, prestressedconcrete pavement, CRTS Ⅱ type plate without a frantic jumble rail system, and base plateof the whole large area board, etc. Different structure types have different requirements to thesliding layer. At the present time, the sliding layer, for the cross-prestressed concretepavement, has no mature construction experience, no uniform standard for the designing,construction and acceptance checking of it.This paper, through theoretical analysis and experimental research, studied thoroughly onthe material type and structure parameters of cross-prestressed concrete pavement slidinglayer, the influence of the sliding layer friction coefficient to the cross-prestressed concretepavement slab structure, the influence of the basic types to the friction coefficient of slidinglayer, and the paving technology of the sliding layer.The author, according to the Amonton’s law, designed and developed the frictioncoefficient tester of the cross-prestressed concrete pavement. Using ABAQUS, one finiteelement modeling software, and the analytical calculation method, the author analyzed thecross-prestressed concrete pavement panel structure, and find the requirements of it to thefriction coefficient of sliding layer. The author studied six different material types of slidinglayer, by using the self designed and developed "cross-prestressed concrete pavement slidinglayer friction coefficient tester", and found the best material type and optimal structure of thecross-prestressed concrete pavement sliding layer. Simultaneously, the author studied theinfluence of the three common cross-prestressed concrete pavement base to the ross-prestressed concrete pavementsliding layer. Finally, this study proposed the constructiontechniques and construction points for the cross-prestressed concrete pavement sliding layer,to provide the theory support and the construction technical guidance for the cross-prestressedconcrete pavement sliding layer.
