| As a kind of low investment, low energy consumption, high output energy savingmaterials, foam concrete has some advantages, such as low coefficient of thermal conductivity, higher strength and excellent waterproof, durability and fire resistance. It is widely applied inthe construction and industry. Recently, it has been used in aviation and military. In ordinary foam concrete, the main material is cement whose energy consumption isvery high, so many companies replace part of cement with admixture to save the cementcontent and reduce the cost. Coal gangue could pollute the environment, also have the firehazards as a kind of industrial waste. But because of its volcanic ash effect, applying it in thefoam concrete could improve the environment and cut down the cost. Besides, it is able toreduce the density of the foam concrete. This experiment has three stages, mainly including the preparation of the foam, thepreparation of the coal gangue-cement slurry and the mixing of them. Firstly, determine theoptimal dosage of the foaming agent and method by the foaming multiples and stability test.Secondly, ascertain the best cement of the coal gangue and the water reducing agent as well asthe optimal range of the water to material ratio by liquidity experiment of the coal gangue-cement slurry. Thirdly, pick up the most suitable foam volume and water to material ratio bymeans of the strength and density test in the foam concrete of different density level, and thenchoose the best proportion of the PVA after the strength, density and thermal conductivity test.Research results show that the foam agent has the highest foaming multiples and the beststability when its concentration is2.5%. Adopting the corporation of the motor stirrer and themagnetic stirrer could improve the foaming effect. The foam concrete`s best water to materialratio varies from its density level. In low and medium density it`s0.41, but in hign density it`s0.40. Mixing PVA whose dosage is3%of cement quantity in foam concrete can improvethe performance in strength, density and coefficient of thermal conductivity a lot. |
