On July21,2012,the city of Beijing suffered the heaviest rainfall in the61years.However,the urban drainage system can not bear such the load because of manyreasons.what’s more,with the lack of sufficient management,the system can’not been full usedof.It caused much water stored in the road,which impact on public transport、facilities andpeople’s life. While,the similar incidents have staged in many large and medium-sized citiesin recent years,the scene of “Water Venice”happened frequently.Therefore,in this paper,Iwill research the urban drainage system and a serious of problems about it.1.This paper studies the problems in the planning,design,construction,management,waterrecycling,beautification and environmental protection of the urban drainage networksystematically.Meanwhile,I give a few basic countermeasures:the planning of the urbandrainage should be combined with the city’s own characteristics.The return period of the pipenetwork should be increased.The technology and equipment of the pipeline constructionshould be brought in.The GIS technology should be used in the integrated management of thepipe network.The technology and scale of the recycling of the water resources should beimproved,especially the rainwater.The design of the urban drainage network should considerthe beauty and the environmental protection of the city.2.In this paper,by summarizing and researching,I build the primary structure of thedesign,construction,management of the modern urban drainage system.Besides,I give thedetailed formulas how to calculate the amount of the urban rainwater,sewage,industrialwastewater and flood.Meanwhile,I introduce the construction methods of the drain line.Aswell as,based on the existing achievements,I improve the integrated management system ofthe urban drainage management.What’s more,I establish the emergency management of theurban sewage disposal.Finally,I take an example to calculate the urban inflow and give the comprehensive anddemonstrative instructions of the design(method,step)and arrangement of the pipe network.
