Research group developed a portable power generation system based on miniatureinternal combustion swing engine. It is a micro two-stroke swing engine device based onthe way of a component swinging in the cavity, which can change fuel chemical energyinto mechanical energy. With Portable devices flourishing in today’s society, researching amicro-engine with high energy density has important social value and promotes mobileelectronic devices in various fields of application.In this paper, starting from improving the structure of miniature internal combustionswing engine, based on the overall structure design, taking into account the problems afterminiaturization of miniature internal combustion swing engine, targeted designed a spring–needle seal structure, improving air tightness of the device, at the same time, avoiding theproblem of system stopping as a result of friction gluing on contact surface betweencylinder and center swing.When center swing Reciprocating swing, the oil film between needle and cylinder onwhich the contact form is line contact can make the contact be in a elastic fluid lubricantstate, or at least part of the elastic fluid lubrication condition, the minimum oil filmthickness between the needle and cylinder as the evaluation of the friction and lubricationstandard.According to the design method of stroke coefficient ratio K1to design the planarlinkage based on the law of motion of miniature internal combustion swing engine thekinematics analysis has been made of the system, to verify each part has no interferencephenomenon when the system is reciprocating swing and the output of the swing angle,velocity curve changes with time. Analyzed the force of each component and calculated theforce and torque equations, determining variation law of the gas pressure in combustionchamber and the inertial force of the moving mass which applied on linkage.Established the drag test-bed of miniature internal combustion swing engine, realisticsimulate the motion process of miniature internal combustion swing engine. Sample datapoints in the compression process which measured by pressure sensor to the twocombustion chambers, the test results were analyzed and fitted curves; the conclusion is that the pressure with time-varying in the compression phase can be maintained at within acertain range of the system, which is not much different with the calculated pressure valueby numerical analysis and flow field pressure nephogram. Thus the design of the wholesystem from the theory and practice have been fully affirmed, the development of principleprototype of miniature internal combustion swing engine is relatively successful.
