Research Of Planning And Design About Pension Facilities In Xi’an

As early as in2000, Xi’an has entered the aging society."family+community"old age is more in line with the development background of Chinese society andcultural-traditional pension model, the community is public pension model unit toachieve "community service for home care of elderly", and is the physical embodimentwhich is able to adapt to living environment of the elderly. Because the elderly is thethrong who is most dependent on community public service facilities, so it hasimportant practical significance for our current severe pension problem to makeresearch on planning and design of home care facility in Xi’an community.Firstly this paper describes the research background of community home carefacilities, elaborates some related concepts of aging population and community homecare facilities, and makes an elaboration on the current condition and characteristics ofpopulation aging at3levels of globe, nation, Xi’an. Furthermore, start with the livingneeds of urban elderly, on the premise that drawing on advanced foreign pension-relatedtheoretical and practical experience, the daily needs of the elderly in community ofXi’an and home care facilities and community patterns are studied. First the papermakes an investigation on the first batch of15pilot community home-based carepreliminary in Xi’an in2009, and makes an on-site research and systematic analysis onQipei Community, the new Northwest Community and Hongzhuan South community which are selected from the15pilot community from facilities for the elderly serviceobjects, outer space, the overall layout, by type, function, spatial structure, the use of thearea, supporting the scale, set the requirements with the research methods of on-siteobservation, dialogue interviews, case studies and contrast methods. And the papermakes a contrastive research on related cases of other developed areas in China, andprovides some relevant suggestions for the problems of community services, planningand design principles, functional configuration, the construction scale and system-levelof home care facilities. Finally, the paper applies the research results to home carefacility system planning of Qinchuan Welfare Area community and home care servicestation design practice of the30thneighbour. This thesis has certain reference value tomake a useful study for the more scientific development of home care facilities of urbancommunity in Xi’an, and hopes to provide reference in practice and construction in thefuture.
