In recent years,with the rapid development of Xian city construction,theEnvironment is been destroyed. People becomes realizing the importance of ecologyand continuous development,building vegetation attracts more attention for its ecologyefficiency and its effort in mitigating thermal island in cities.When lots of the newarchitecture materials appear rapidly nowadays,the thesis tries to find methods ofcombination design of buildings and vegetation,study methods and constructiontechniques on the design of architecture of building vegetation for Xian,the thesisprovides technical support for building vegetation in Xian central city. Because ofclimate condition,building vegetation is backward building in cold area of ourcountry.In that case,designers should pay more attention on building vegetation whenexternal conditions are not ideal.Firstly,through research on building green in Xian and based on the analysis theachievement and weakness existing in the building vegetation,The thesis studies thearchitecture greening. Building vegetation includes two actors,,roof greening andvertical greening,and it studies classification,load design, mature structure, plantkinds,maintenance,etc. and these four vertical greening species are horizontalcompared in five fields:applicable building;maintenance; plants selection;appearance and the speed of the wall covering.At last,by instance of building green in Xian, researches the superiority of thebuilding vegetation in the building thermal with the experimental analyze.experimentalstudies form two points:discuses the environment effective of and roof greening,through research on building green in Xian, proposed is suitable principle of design andstructural types which our country construction afforests;discuses the environment effective of vertical greening and researches the superiority of the vertical greening inthe building thermal with the experimental analyze.In this paper,the study of building vegetation is systematically studied. I hopethese words can found a city construction to afforest, advance the questions needconsider in the design of building vegetation, to the practice work the instructionfunction.
