Strain gauge is used for device structure or component strain. Traditional strainmeasuring instrument has poor accuracy, complicated operation, huge volume. In orderto overcome the above disadvantages, this paper presents the design of a multifunctionaldigital strain gauge. Through strict design and debug produced a strain detector prototype,its measurement performance, operational performance and the overall volume and otherindicators have improved. According to this problem, propose solutions, demonstrationproject, the implementation plan and write. The thesis consists of the followingsubsections:The first chapter introduces the background of the strain gauge, current situation ofdomestic and foreign products. Points out the shortcomings of existing strain in severalaspects, thus put forward the idea of solution.The second chapter describes the working principle of strain gauge, analysis ofvoltage type bridge disadvantages, put forward current bridge project, and variousproperties of detailed analysis of current bridge, and puts forward the realization scheme.At the same time on the electronic switching mode principle.The third chapter expounds the overall design scheme of strain gauge. Includinghardware design, software design, given the overall design diagram, expounds thestructure of the system, signal transmission, filter design, several aspects of panel designetc..The fourth chapter introduces the hardware design of each part, describe the circuitprinciple of work. The hardware design includes design and host from machine designtwo parts. Including the ARM processor and its peripheral circuit, FPGA logic chip, andthe external circuit, communication circuit, signal conditioning circuit.The fifth chapter introduces the program design of each part of the. IncludingARM, host FPGA, from three parts machine FPGA. Design content including the designof Bootloader design, QT GUI, digital filter design, communication protocol design etc..The sixth chapter introduces the determination of strain gauge properties,including calibration coefficients, the sensitivity of the assay, the stability was measured,and the signal-to-noise ratio of the measurement of these four aspects.The seventh chapter of the paper briefly summarizes the content, summarizes theachievements and shortcomings. To illustrate the application of this design in automobilevibration test, compared with the performance of other strain gauge, and the economicanalysis.
