In the aerospace and military equipment, cable has a very wide range of applications. Static andvibration screening test on aircraft cable is one of the important projects of system testing.The cableof the aircraft is composed by a multi-core cable, the probability of the cable failure has beenincreased by the harsh environment. The cable vibration screening test in the conditions of the analogstatic, vibration, shock and launch can find and repair the fault of the cable in time and improve thereliability of the product.The traditional methods of detection not only have low efficiency and high labor intensity oftesting personnel issues, but also are difficult to guarantee the correctness of the test results because ofthe large proportion of human factors.According to the design requirements, the analysis and comparison of the advantage,disadvantage and feasibility of some cable short-break instant detection methods are presented in thepaper. On this basis, the paper introduces FPGA-based high-speed cable measurement technologieswhich use the IPC as control core, gives an integral and critical description of the system designideas, discusses the design principles of control module, static test module and dynamic test module.The cable vibration screening equipment based on virtual instrument technology andprogrammable logic technology for vibration screening test of assembly cable and flight control cabincable, PC software developers using LabVIEW, Verilog HDL for FPGA design and development.When configured test parameters, the entire testing process automatically controlled by software,without human intervention in the testing process. After the end of the test, the test data can be saved,and to analyze the results, and automatically generate test reports. The system hardware and softwaredesign uses a modular design concept with good scalability and convenience of upgrade the system inthe future.This paper described the working principle, design idea, realization methods of the system indetail, and introduced the realization of each function module in the software and hardware design indetail, finally introduced the debugging process of the system, and put forward some suggestions forimprovement.The the cable vibration screening equipment capable of measuring small to0.1us shortinterruptions and instantaneous contact phenomenon for200lines of cable in the same time, and can record the number of short interruptions and instantaneous contact, the time when short interruptionsor instantaneous contact occurs and impedance curve when short-break occurs. The paper provides anew way to the design of the high speed parallel test equipment for cable faults of short interruptionsand instantaneous contact. |
