Highway traffic is pillar industry for the development of our society, whichis also the main artery of transportation. In recent years,with the rapiddevelopment of highway traffic,our economic has significant growth,but thereare also more and more traffic accidents. So far,the number of the traffic accidentdeaths in China has ranked first in the world for more than10years,as aresult,the road safety audit is more and more urgent. Not only do we need toimprove these places that traffic accidents happen more likely, we also need toconsummate our highway design through more research of safety evaluation,forthe sake of reduce traffic accidents and improve highway safety fundamentally.This paper explores the application of freeway module in China primarily,to establish freeway safety evaluation system which is appropriate to Chinathrough deep research of Interactive Highway Safety Design Model by improvingCrash Prediction Module and Design Consistency Module, with combination ofthe current situation of highway safety evaluation in China.In order to solve the problem of imperfection in freeway safety evaluationinland, this paper completes improvement of Crash Prediction Module andDesign Consistency Module. In Crash Prediction Module this paper carries on alot of regression analysis to crash prediction of freeway in IHSDM, and correctsthe results of different highway types, to apply IHSDM in China afterimprovement and largely compensate for the lack of freeway crash prediction ofChina, with combination of freeway safety evaluation inland. In DesignConsistency Module this paper deeply discusses the core algorithm andevaluation process,and corrects the core algorithm with combination of classicalmodels of operating speed inland, to exactly evaluate the consistency of Chinesehighways after correction. These modules are suitable for proposed or existingprojects to reduce traffic accidents and save the cost of highway rebuilding andmanagement....
