Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has perfect performance, andwidely used in Textile, Metalurgo, Mining and so on. At present, vector control is themain control method in control system for PMSM. It’s need a position sensor formeasuring rotor position, this increase the cost of the system, the system become morecomplex so the reliability is decreased. The content of this paper is about sensorlesscontrol for PMSM, especially for Interior Permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) at low speed using High Frequency(HF) Injection.At the first reaserch about principle of the high frequency injection method, byanalyzing math model of the PMSM with HF injection and build the equation of theresponse current, using band filter and reference filter derive the response current signaland carrier current from stator current.Then using a luenberger observer to estimate the rotor position. Analyzing thereason for estimate error, finding the solution for improve estimate accuracy.Compensate the error caused by filter. Build the induction model of motor undersaturation, Analyze the High-frequent response current when the IPMSM is saturated,compensate the polarity by second order response current. Discuss the errorcompensation at MTPA by analyzing magnet saturation. The multi-salient model is alsobuilt in this paper, by analyzing the influence of multi-salient, An off-line measuremethod is used to eliminate the influence of multi-salient. On the basis of discussion inthe front pager, a sensorless control system for IPMSM by HF method is built byMatlab/Simulink, part of the content is simulated by Matlab.At last design a control system for sensorless control based on HF method forIPMSM, Experimental equipment base on XMC4500MCU is built as well as softwarecode is written in C language.Validate the feasibility of this paper by experiment.
