This article fully reflects the function and the artistic value of the covers withscientific design schemes from different perspectives and made the well covers, which are unnoticeable but relate closely to people’s life safety and environment beautification, as acity’s most beautiful card and let them foil cultural characteristics and cultural taste of a city.Therefore, in order to make the design project applied on urban roads well covers as soon aspossible, the author has reported the design plan of this project and its relevant achievementcases to the National Intellectual Property Patent Office of the People’s Republic of Chinaand applied for patent technology and intellectual property rights. Through review andverification of relevant departments, two national patents have been awarded nationalpatents, namely A Kind of Crush Resistance Inspection Well Cover and Its Holder withpatent number201420092353.4and Design Works of Exterior Decoration Application onWell Covers with patent number2014Z11L016659. I made these achievements as myconclusion results of my graduation thesis defense.
