| Chinese cities are developing rapidly in recent years, a large number of high-rise buildings havesprung up.The city formed a modern landscape, has brought great changes to people’s livingenvironment. The existence of the city’s old historical and cultural blocks due to the experience ofmany years years of erosion, mostly have no longer glory. The overall outlook for the wholeneighborhood has become archaic in comparison of the new look of the modern urban landscapebecomes more backward. An urgent need to transform these seemingly slums of historical andcultural blocks due to the need for urban development.The historical and cultural blocks are usually accumulated a rich cultural heritage of the cities,it is written in the city’s history, and record the changes of the city, thus has a very distinctrepresentation of the entire city’s traditional regional landscape. So for the historical and culturaldistrict, can not take it as a malignant tumor of city development such as completely stripped itdisappeared from the development and construction of the city.on the contrary, We should put it togood use in order that the historic district and cultural landscape can be passed on and development.The purpose is to allow the city to create a landscape issued by the local cultural characteristics andto improve the overall content of the entire city and culture.This article carries on the analysis to the concepts related to historic landscape, then elaboratethe definition of inheritance and development of historical district landscape; then introduced thedevelopment of the domestic and international related research work, summarizing research theoryand conduct a research to lays a foundation for theoretical research later on. Then, combined withthe relevant theory, landscape planning and design from the angle function, economy, culture ofhistoric blocks protection, summed up the theory and method of historic district landscape heritageand development and put forward the historical block landscape design principles. The classic casesof the use of the historical and cultural blocks in China interpreted the method of historical resourcesprocessing, block function endowing, space and culture communication; inheritance anddevelopment strategy. Through the discussing of Tanhualin historical district and analyzing thehistorical background of Tanhualin historical landscape resources, this article proposed the use ofexisting resources of Tanhualin historic district to made remediation, and the use of Tanhualincultural elements to heritage and development of the historic district in Tanhualin landscape. Effortsto seek a reasonable and effective road and pathways for the heritage and development of the historicdistrict in the city landscape, providing some theoretical basis and experience for the urgent needto change the historical and cultural district. |
