| Since the reform and opening up, our country has obtained the rapid development ofsocial and economic, but also brought a series of negative effects, mainly in the energyshortages and damage to the ecosystem. Hydropower is a renewable clean energy, and hasgood regulating performance, so it becomes the focus of our country’s energy development.Although the total water resources is high in our country, uneven distribution, lower in percapita and waterpower utilization. Therefore strengthen the hydropower operation andmanagement, to carry out reservoir optimal operation, conjunctive optimal operation ofinter-basin Cascaded Hydropower Stations, has an important practical significance toimprove the utilization of water resources. The main work is described as:The current research on reservoir operation at home and abroad is briefly described atfirst, then, the problems on the conjunctive optimal operation of Cascaded HydropowerStations are analyzed and collated, the mathematical model as the goal of maximizing thetotal generating capacity of the system is established, and also taking full account of theconstraints of each reservoir. In addition, for the solving methods of the problem ofoptimal operation, it introduces two deterministic optimization algorithm—the progressiveoptimization algorithm (POA) and the decomposition-coordination principle of the largescale system, and applies the POA to solve the problem of the Three Gorges and QingjiangCascaded Hydropower Stations individually optimal operation, getting satisfactory results.Against the problems on the conjunctive optimal operation of Three Gorges andQingjiang Cascaded Hydropower Stations, the purpose and significance of the researchare first analyzed. Considering the power association of the two Cascaded HydropowerStations, the method of decomposition-coordination principle of the large scale system isused to solve the problem of Cascaded Hydropower Stations conjunctive optimaloperation, comparative analyzes the results of individually optimal operation andconjunctive optimal operation, proves the correctness of the conjunctive operation. Finally, the implicit stochastic optimization method on the other hand content isstated—development of reservoir operation rules bases on the results of deterministicoptimization method. Against the solving method for the reservoir operation function, itdescribes several linear regression methods, solves the problems of Three GorgesCascaded Hydropower Stations and Qingjiang Cascaded Hydropower Stations optimaloperation by using stepwise regression method, and compares the results with the resultsof deterministic optimization methods. |
