The ship shafting is an important part of the ship power system, whose principalfunction is to transmit power and torque. System as it is under complicated load and stressduring the operation process. Good quality in shafting alignment can ensure the internalstress of shaft section and the bearing loads are in reasonable allowable range. To the shipshafting system it is directly related to the reliability and safety of ship shafting during theservice, so researches on shafting alignment and shock resistance properties aremeaningful. With the aid of Visual C++and finite element analysis software ANSYS, thispaper build a parametric research platform for analysis of alignment and shock resistanceproperty of shafting, which can make research of shafting alignment and shock resistanceproperty under the conditions of longitudinal vibration damping. It main includes:(1)After analyzed the ship shafting system characteristic structure, parametriccharacteristics are determined. Based on Visual C++an alignment and shock resistanceproperty analysis software interface is written, which used ANSYS secondarydevelopment written language APDL parametric to create the command flow. With theuses of packaging technology a shafting parameterized design research platform is built.In combination with the specific examples of the parametric and intelligent platform areanalyzed.(2) Based on the parametric platform, the paper taken a ship shafting system as anexample, studied the calculation of straight and rational shaft alignment and analyzed thebearing axial and vertical position changes on the influence of the shaft system; andcompared the calculation analysis changes of the installation and the longitudinal shockabsorber and increase system damping coefficient shaft system of shock resistanceproperty.The development of parametric finite element calculation program of ship shaftingrealized the shafting parametric modeling, alignment and shock resistance propertyanalysis automation and intelligent, which reducing the shafting design process repeatedtedious labor, and greatly improving the work efficiency.
