Study Of Road Intersection Traffic Signal Control System Based On Vehicle Flow

Based on the traffic flow detection of road intersection traffic light control systemoptimization were studied, including traffic lights control strategy optimization, traffic flowdetection technology, based on the traffic intersection traffic light control system software andhardware realization and simulation.1. In the existing road intersection traffic light control strategy, the arrow model trafficlight control strategy includes the traffic direction information, and pedestrian informationwork constitutes the entire traffic light control system. Compared with such flow detection technology as vehicle flow detection by sensorsberried in the road, vehicle flow detection with wave and infrared frequency, the vehicle flowdetection by video technique has its superiority, and finally was selected to realize the cityroad traffic parameter detection, and for the road intersection traffic light control systemoptimization control to provide reference parameter.3. The AT89C51, seven digital tube and the corresponding power supply circuitstructures were used to build the road intersection traffic light control system, and assemblylanguage was also used to develop the corresponding control code, realize the intersectiontraffic light control system software and hardware system. The system was able to receivetraffic flow parameters, and display in digital tube and the traffic lights traffic information wasalso controlled.4. The Proteus circuit analysis and simulation software was used for the simulation ofroad intersection traffic light control system, the simulation results show that, the traffic flowparameters are introduced into the control system of traffic lights, is feasible, it can effectivelyimprove the traffic capacity of the road.
