In this paper, based the objectives of the study on continuous prestressed concrete gird inhome and abroad, static performance of three-span continuous variable cross-sectionprestressed concrete beam was studied by static test and finite element analysis in thebackdrop of the Bai Dunguang bridge.Though finite element analyzed on the static performance of three-span continuousvariable cross-section prestressed concrete beam in construction and service stage, the rule ofdistribution of force and stress was summarized under the vehicle, shrinkage and creep ofconcrete, temperature and bearing displacement loads. Then, the stress, the carrying capacity, crack and deflection of beam in construction and service stage was checked. The static performance influenced by load parameters for three-span continuous variablecross-section prestressed concrete bridge was carried out by finite element simulation analysis. The static performance influenced by shrinkage and creep of concrete was studied, which wasaffected by relative humidity, load age of concrete, time of operation of static, et al. In orderto analyze the static performance affected by temperature load, cooling and rewarming for thewhole structure and temperature gradient were considered in the process of analysis.; theinfluence of the bearing displacement for continuous beam was studied by changing the valueof bearing displacement.Though test studied on static performance on the Bai Dunguang bridge, the displacement, stress, and cracks was tested, and the status and performance of beam in designed load waschecked. The test results showed that the strength and stiffness and stability of the BaiDungang bridge met the requirement of standards.
