With the development of science and technology, as well as the launch of the new powerelectronic devices and microprocessors, the technology of AC motor control has made greatprogress in recent years. AC motor has gradually replaced the application of DC motor invarious fields of the national economy for its excellent speed control performance and highlyefficient energy-saving effect. Compared with the DC motor, the variable frequency controlsystem has incomparable speed control precision, speed range and faster response speedbased on asynchronous motor vector control, and it has become a hot spot of research fordomestic and overseas scholars.This thesis mainly studies and explores the AC asynchronous motor control principle,put forward a system software and hardware design project centering on TI’s motor controlchip TMS320F2812DSP, which achieves the AC asynchronous motor vector control throughthe combining of the technology of Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM).First ofall, this paper analyzes the research background of the AC motor speed control and its currentresearch status and development tendency at home and abroad. Then, combining with the ACmotor speed control principle, the paper derives the equivalent mathematical model of thethree-phase asynchronous motor. On this basis above, coordinate transformation process,including the three-phase to two-phase transform and stationary phase-rotation orthogonaltransformation, is analyzed in detail, after understanding the basic principles of SVPWMcontrol technology, we put forward a realization method of SVPWM vector control. And thenthis paper completed the hardware circuit design (including the main circuit,detection andprotection circuit, etc.) and software design of the control system of250W asynchronousmotor based on DSP. Finally, performance of the control system is tested and analyzed, therunning result not only shows that the control system can realize the SVPWM vector control,but also proves the efficiency and reliability of the system. And the experimental results andproblems appearing in the experiment are analyzed and discussed, which lays the foundationfor follow-up research and developing higher performance of motor control system.
