Due to the combined effect of natural factors and traffic loads, asphalt pavement becomeaging and emerge various diseases, and eventually enter the overhaul period. For economicand environmental considerations, more and more engineering department began to use wasteasphalt pavement recycling technology. This paper discusses the recycling technology and the recycling process of the asphaltmixture, and design a small hot-recycling equipment which is suitable for the maintenance ofcity road as well as the general level road. Mainly doing the following work:Determine the asphalt content of the scrap asphalt mixture by experiment and detect thephysical and chemical properties of the recycled waste asphalt, through20%,50%,65%ofthe old material blending ratio grading experiment arrive at a more reasonable old materialblending rate between20%-50%.Design a small mobile asphalt mixture hot-recycling equipment, through calculating getthe main geometry dimensions of the device and the rotate speed, drive power etc.Establish a heating model of the hot-recycling equipment to calculate the fuelconsumption is about29.16kg/h, the thermal efficiency of about71.5%. Then doing the heatbalance calculations, making a number of recommendations to improve the utilization ofgeothermal energy, at last improved the thermal efficiency up to80%.Given the technological process and control system theory of the hot-recyclingequipment, using a temperature sensor detecting the material temperature of discharge port, through the temperature feedback to control the burner, also give some recommendations inusing and routining maintenance of the hot-recycling equipment.
