Since the implementation of the reform and opening-up policy, China’s nationaleconomy has been rapidly developing, and the process of urbanization is accelerating, resulting in the excessive consumption of limited resources and the destruction of theecological environment. Urbanization has led to a large number of constructionactivities, which have a huge impact on the ecological environment. During theconstruction and use of buildings, a lot of resources and energy is consumed, and thesurrounding environment is seriously polluted. Therefore, the study of ecologicalbuilding is of great significance. The rapid development of the agro-logistics park isclosely related to the development of national economy and urbanization. Due to itsown architectural space and functional characteristics, the research on eco-architecturaldesign has its unique significance.Under the guidance of the Niche Theory, and through site visits and case studies ofShenzhen Agricultural Products Logistics Park, as well as the analysis of thedevelopment process of Shenzhen Agricultural Products Logistics Park and itsconstruction space and functional characteristics, this article reveals the innerrelationships between each architectural factor and the niche principle under thecharacteristics of Shenzhen’s sub-tropical maritime climate and, from the perspective ofeco-design, offers corresponding ways to solve the problems, thus providing a referencefor future eco-design and transformation of agricultural logistics parks in places withhot and humid southern climatic characteristics similar to Shenzhen AgriculturalProducts Logistics Park.
