With the use of green energy technologies getting more and more attention, windpower has been important object of study into the development of green energyindustry."Twelve Five" wind power planning has been to strengthen the low windspeed wind power development to include, as an important part of the wind powersystem, the performance analysis of the generator is important.Firstly, through the methods of magnetic equivalent circuit diagram and generatorphasor diagram make magnetic equivalent, to obtain the diagram of magnetic field byusing the finite element software.Secondly, got the initial size of outer-rotor magnet permanent generator accordingto the method of magnetic circuit,and obtain the starting magnetic resistance torqueand efficiency of outer-rotor magnet permanent generator by theoretical calculation.Finally, for the goal of low-speed, low starting reluctance torque, low inherentvoltage regulation rate, and by the study of the winding characteristics of the externalrotor permanent magnet generator, adopt the method of fractional slot concentratedwinding, combine with electromagnetic simulation software Magnet, a prototype hasbeen designed based on field-circuit coupling method, at the same time, based on thedirect-drive characteristics design test-bed to test prototype. Found that the design ofthe outer rotor permanent magnet generator with low starting reluctance torque, lowspeed and high efficiency operating characteristics, the result is satisfactory.In this paper, start from the structure and the basic theory of the permanentmagnet generator, analysis of the structural properties and winding characteristics ofthe outer-rotor permanent magnet generator (ORPMG), combine with the finiteelement simulation software Magnet, explore the key parameters of the magnetic fluxleakage coefficient, calculate pole arc coefficient calculation and the size of the designmethod. According to the ideas and methods of this article, generator beginners alsocan design and research of the outer rotor permanent magnet generator.
