A Research On The Cost Control At Construction Stage Of Engineering Project

The construction enterprises are facing the fierce market competition with thestandardization of the development of construction market, to need to find ways toimprove their core competitiveness, and the cost control at construction stage ofengineering project is the main way to increase profits for construction enterprises andplays an important role in improving the management level for construction enterprises.According to the requirement of the content, principles, objectives of cost controlat construction stage of project, and on the basis of the applicability analysis for the costcontrol method of the activity-based costing, the value engineering, the earned valueand so on, this article further analyses the application of three methods in theengineering cost control combined with the construction characteristics of thefoundation engineering of new campus of Guizhou Normal University.In the process of foundation construction, at fist, this article adopts valueengineering to choose the treatment scheme of the bad geological foundation andevaluates the function of foundation treatment scheme from five aspects of constructionsafety, quality, period, the difficult degree of management and the risk situation, todetermine pile+beam foundation for the optimal treatment scheme, reducing the costof104000RMB and improving the construction efficiency in the premise of ensuringthe construction progress and quality. Secondly, using activity-based costing to carry onthe cost control for the foundation construction, through the analysis for work flow ofindependent column base and pile foundation, to determine the activity center and count the amount of activity motivation,so then calculate the motivation rate and cost ofactivity center, making the project leader intuitively understand the resourceconsumption and cost ratio of each activity and providing more real and accurate costdata for the project cost control.once again,using the earned value method to carry on the dynamic control at the1-10week for the foundation construction, and found the situation of cost overspendingand progress lagging behind, then analyze the reason for construction cost and progressexisting deviation, and timely take corrective measures, to achieve the dynamic controlfor project cost, it provides valuable experience and reference value for the later workand forecasts the development trend of the later work.On the basis of the above application research, this article puts forwardcountermeasures to strengthen the cost control for construction enterprises, mainlyincludes: construction enterprises should select the appropriate cost control methodcombined the engineering characteristics with the application characteristics of costcontrol method, actively do well organization and management on site, do wellcoordination control among the construction safety, quality, progress and cost.
