Nowadays, the problem of the energy crisis plaguing the various countries of theworld, China is also facing huge challenges between energy supply and demand seriousimbalances. The energy saving problem has become a hot social issues, which receivewidespread attention. Building energy efficiency is a systematic project, which needgovernment support and advanced energy-saving technologies and materials. The key ofbuilding energy conservation is to reduce building energy consumption during operation.At present, building energy consumption will be gradually reduced with the use ofmeasures to strengthen building insulation, energy-saving technologies and equipment,but these measures cause the construction materials and the production of energyincrease.The Energy-saving of building enclosure is the key part of building’senergy-saving. While our country vigorously promotes the application of energy-savingmaterial on the building enclosure, we also face the problem of higher cost of theenergy-saving materials. This paper established the life-cycle economic evaluationmodel on the building enclosure by the theory of life-cycle economic evaluation andanalysis as well as calculate the life-cycle cost after using energy-saving material on thebuilding enclosure through the actual engineering, thus draws the conclusion: the use ofenergy-saving materials on building enclosure can not only reduce the building energyconsumption, but also reduce the life-cycle cost of the construction.This article focuses on the same engineering simulation using different kind of heatinsulating material for external thermal insulation. It is assumed that in the winterheating period, a prerequisite building heating days and the indoor temperature reached the national standard, through calculating the construction cost and maintenance cost ofinsulation materials, and using the same discount rate and computation period get theNPV of insulation materials. We believe that the scheme of NPV smaller and in theprocess of operation winter heating coal consumption minimal is the best in building thelife cycle.The significance of this paper is that despite using a good energy-saving effectmaterials increases the initial investment, but in the process of operation saves theconsumption of resources, in building the life cycle, the investment value is alsoreduced, so it should be advocated to the use energy-saving materials, which can notonly reduce energy consumption, but also reduce the investment and obtain a goodsocial and economic benefits.
