With the increasing number of private cars in Xi`an, cars have broken thesituation that people usually walk or ride to transport their children between thekindergarten and home, becoming the main way of transportation.Apparently, the traffic disturbance at the gate of kindergarten has alreadyseriously threatened children’s safety and the traffic quality, which results from theunordered parking of private cars in the rush hour. Researches on the field ofkindergarten gate design have almost been empty in architectural design specificationand Data set. On the basis of many objective facts, seeing from the view of architecture,this subject shows a detailed answer to the problem existing at the gate of kindergarten,which refers many different elements such as the transporting behaviors of parents,social background conditions, existing research dates, site investigation, and regionalcharacteristics and so on. Also, this paper will make a good unity of the architecturalfunctions, the benefit of developers and the need of users by combining lots of aspectssuch as social element, transporting behaviors, architectural design, and planning design,etc. Under the promise of sustainable development strategy, the author tries to find aproper way to research and solve the problem that exists at the kindergarten gate.The Project selects many relatively large kindergartens to visit and research in xi’an city with statistical results and targeted screening, analyzes the main reason for the problem found during the survey period, and carries on systematic investigation andresearch activities.This subject obtains mass date from the research of kindergarten which hasserious gate problems in the rush hour. The date, with mathematical statistics formulas,is calculated and tested by later actual investigations to make sure its rationality. On thebasis of the index data of kindergarten entrance space, considering the nationalconditions and the analysis of design specifications, the paper compares kindergartensin different size in xi ’an area, and makes a feasibility study on the calculation of indexdata. Under the promise of the feasibility study and the base of real calculation date, thisproject, overcoming the bound of specification and the data set, creatively builds aneffective way to put forward the solution strategy, which serves space and time as thebasic theory and refers diversified views such as the site of kindergarten, thesurrounding environment and so on. Moreover, it takes the typical kindergarten as anexample to simulate and reform, offering definite references for exploratory researcheson new kindergartens in the future.
