With the continuous development of society, the continuous improvement of people’sconsumption level, as well as the growing popularity of cars, people have becomeincreasingly demanding of the shift mechanism in the vehicle handling and processstability, accuracy and comfort and some other properties. The performance of the shiftmechanism reaction vehicle in overall performance, only to meet specific performancerequirements, in order to ensure the performance of the vehicle to meet the requirementsof consumers.The virtual prototype technology is applied to the simulation of the movement of theshift mechanism, by using virtual prototyping technology software ADAMS to do thesimulation analysis. By using ADAMS to built its geometric model, define joins betweenits components, load movement motion, check the system error, simulate and receive thesimulation results. By analyzing the results to find the defects of it, and optimize it. Usingthe way of virtual simulation results on a particular system has certain reference value inthe actual design process.This article based on WuLing Rong Guang-specific models shift mechanism, themain contents are listed below:(1)According to the data provided by the shift mechanism manufacturing for thetheoretical calculations and obtain the size of the shift mechanism in the shifting angle ofrotation of the shift mechanism joystick, the shifting cable moving distance transmissionof the institutions the main parameters of the ratio and the size of the shift force.(2) Using ADAMS to simulate the movement of the shifting mechanism, a graphobtained when the shifting joystick rotation angle, the size of the shift force graph andselect a graph of the distance of the movement of the shift cable, etc.(3) Comparing the simulation results with the theoretical calculations, if there aredifferences between them, need do the optimization for it. Loaded the force on theplurality of directions on the joystick at the same time, there is a angle between the axisand it, and by loading with coordinate axes at different angles the size of the force, inorder to finish the block and shift on the shift mechanism in a short time. Through thesimulation and optimization of ADAMS software to the operating time is reduced by50%,greatly reducing the operating pressure.(4) A simple ANSYS finite element analysis about the block of the shift mechanismand obtain the corresponding results of the analysis. The analysis result and the actualtheoretical calculation results are compared, such as the existence of differences, the needto optimize its model, allowed to satisfy the theoretical requirements. To optimize the structure of the model and to reduce its stress-strain, to improve its safety factor to ensureits specific action can be completed. Through optimizing the structure, ultimately reducethe percentage of stress and strain is6.56%, the safety coefficient is increased by6.70%,greatly improves the performance of the model.Motion analysis of the shift mechanism mainly using ADAMS software designed inthis article, a simple analysis of its structure with ANSYS finite element analysis methodto obtain the corresponding results of the analysis also provides references for thefollowing studies.
