With the rapid development of society and the increasing demand, people’s lifequality continuously improve, The use of electrical appliances is increasing in variousoccasions, the most of electrical equipment contain the motor cover. The motor coverwhich have a complex shape and a size precision is a very important part in the motorstructure. Formerly, single impact mold is mainly the processing method, Manualoperation in production. This led to a low working efficiency and a great labor intensity,which is not suitable for the requirements of the development of contemporarysociety.In order to improve the machining efficiency and quality, need to carry a designand improvement of the stamping process.This paper analyzes the current situation of the development and The meaning of the subject research,This paper expounds in detail the mold design relatedtheory,such as plastic deformation of Metal material, process design the design o-f punch or die and other basic theory. Beyond that. This paper also introducedt-he relevant knowledge of CAE,Focusing on the elastic-plastic theory,selectingthe display algorithm for Finite element simulation analysis.In order to achieve the goal of technology requirements of the mould, this paperdesign the die which can fill the procedure of motor cover. The paper introduces theoverall structure and working mechanism of die in detail. At first, this paper analysisThe manufacturability of the motor cover, through the modeling and theoreticalanalysis,Designed the mould to meet the technological requirements,The specificprocess is as following:blank, a deep drawing, secondary deep drawing,three deepdrawing,trimming and forming, flanging plastic,reforming,impact center hole.Designingthe mold of all process,To the mold structure optimization,the mold is design to concisereasonable,safety and efficiency.Combined with the existing stamping equipment,compared with three kinds of layout mode,this paper select the way which is three rowslayout,improvising the material utilization.After finish technological process and mound design,the paper carries out the numerical simulation analysis on the stamping processof the motor end cover,using FEM software Dynaform5.7.1.According to the simulatednephogram condition and the income data to carry on the analysis,The results verify thestamping process and die design of the rationality and feasibility.
