With the rapid development of economy and urban construction, much attention has beencarried on developing and utilizing urban underground space in our country. So, the follows is alarge number of deep foundations pit and even super deep foundation pits, located in thedowntown where around with a large numbers of structures, line pipes, metro stations and runningtunnels, means new challenge in deep, large, close, busy and hard. Hardness in construction,limited time for projection and series issues on cooperated environment call for development ondesign for deep foundation pit supporting engineering to reduce the projection accident case,which means importance on theoretical and realistic significance. This thesis applies numericalstimulation method to research the effect on foundation settlements of buildings around the deepfoundation bases on the case of foundation pit engineering in civil engineering of1stline of railtransit of Nanchang. The main researches and achievements as follow:Firstly, according to the research situation of scholars both at home and abroad to summarizethe damaged basic thesis on excavation of foundation pit, then I Induct and summarize theprediction method on structure the foundation deformation led by excavation.Secondly, a Numerical calculation model, which applies numerical stimulation method forengineering instance of Nanchang rail transit deep foundation pit, is instituted to discuss the effectson foundation settlement of buildings around the deep foundation excavation. The calculationshows that the result of numerical stimulation is agree with the experience result in engineering,which reveals that numerical simulation method can be used for preliminary calculation andanalysis for practical engineering. The inclination level of structure caused by around thefoundation pit excavation is corresponds to their locations, which means the closer to thefoundation pit the larger effect of foundation settlement is, while The differential settlement willnot decrease with the increase of distance. If one end of buildings foundation lie in settling tankarea in the earth’s surface and the other end of buildings foundation extend double range ofexcavation depth, the foundation differential settlement and the building inclination deformationare largest. The upper loads and embedment depth of Foundation both affect the settlement greatly.Additionally, the nature stiffness of foundation used to against the bending deformation means alot but not for deducing the differential settlement.At the end of this paper I have researched the regulatory measure of excavation to settlementby taking the effects of the within support stiffness, the depth of enclosure walls, the stettedpartition wall outside the pit and base resistance into main considerations. The result shows that these methods are all works for decreasing the settlement; especially the methods of settingpartition walls and base resistance used to induce settlement have sound effects. So I suggesttaking all the influence factors into consideration to choose the economical and safety controlmeasures in engineering.
