With the fast economical growth in our country, the railway passenger transport and high speedrailway have been developing rapidly in the recent years. Furthermore, developing the high speed andheavy load railway has become a strategic goal in the industry of railway freight. The bogie which is akey part of rail travel technology is hence indispensable for realizing the goal. As a result, the study ofthe key technology of guaranteeing the quality of bogies produced is of great significance forimproving the performance of trains and ensuring trains’ operation safety.The paper is about the research on the quality warning and analysis of the key technology in theprocess by observation on the quality of bogies produced considering the actual production conditionsand the result gained from the deep analysis of manufacturing process and requirements for qualityassurance of bogies. The content of the paper contains the following points:1.The analysis of the basic structure and manufacturing process of bogies, the content andequipment of testing the quality; The summary of the key indexes of testing the quality of bogiesproduced and the analysis of main factors influencing the quality.2.The requirements analysis of the system of quality warning and analysis; Advancing thedesign principles, architecture and funtional modules of the system and undertaking the overall designof the system according to the overall systematic frame and the funtional objective; Designing thecorresponding data base for the system.3.Developing corresponding models of qualtiy warning and analysis based on the research onthe Statistical Process Control, Grey system theory and Six Sigma principle; Using SPC to monitorthe bogie manufacturing process in real time and warn of the anomalies; Analysis of anomalous dataand developing the optimal solution to it based on the grey correlation analysis and analysis methodof Six Sigma.4.Developing the system according to the gained result above and expounding implementationmethods of the systematic development, application and some critical technology in theimplementation.
