With the development of industry, the large-scale Ball Mill used more widely. But the design ofthe dynamic machine foundation is just still stay in the static calculation, this can’t satisfy therequirements of large-scale Ball Mill to the foundation, easy to bring the problem of foundationvibration beyond tolerance limit. In order to solve this problem, this paper use finite elementsimulation technology, analyse the dynamic machine foundation from the angle of dynamics,make us further understanding the causes and mechanism of the vibration of ball mill foundation,provide us the beneficial reference to design dynamic machine foundation and reduce thevibration of the foundation. Meanwhile, in order to avoid the resonance of the drive system of mill,this paper also study the torsional vibration of the drive system of mill. Specific research contentsare as follows:Study the principle and characteristics of critical components in ball mill-foundation system,established the ball mill-foundation FEM. In order to judge whether the larger vibration problemscaused by resonance, make the resonance analysis, the results show that the larger vibration maycaused by the resonance; Then make the the transient response analysis to the FEM, through thecomparison to the test results, we know that the FEM is effective; Proposed the improvementscheme of the foundation, make the dynamic FEA to the FEM after the improvement, the resultsshow that the improvement is reasonable effective.Make the vibration test of the foundation before and after the improvement respectively, get theresponse curve of foundation and bearing. The test results show that, the foundation vibrationlevel beyond the long-term operational conditions of the ball mill before the improvement of thefoundation. After the improvement, the foundation vibration level had reduced and meet therequirements, proves that the proposed improvement of the foundation is effective.Study the characteristics of drive system of the ball mill, establish the dynamic model oftorsional vibration of the drive system, make the modal analysis and transient response analysis.To judge whether the larger vibration problems caused by resonance, draw the Campbell diagramand obtaine the TAF at points of potential resonance, the results show that the drive system of theball mill is reasonable, won’t cause resonance.
