With the pace of urbanization accelerated in our country, in order to improve theefficiency of construction machinery, at the same time, ensured the engineering worksecurity and stability, to promote engineering machinery intelligently, so regardedthe study of the electronic and information technology as the core of multifunctiongraphical instrumentation systems, and then became the important issues of theconstruction machinery manufacturers.In this paper, hydraulic excavators as the research object and analyzed therequirements of excavator intelligent control system, studied the overall structure ofthe multifunctional graphical instrumentation systems, embedded hardware systems,software design, and related key technologies.Firstly, according to the requirements of graphical dashboard in the excavatorintelligent control systems, introduced instrument system constitutes and selected theappropriate hardware core and software architecture to design the overall program.Secondly, based on the core of embedded microprocessor MB86R03, studied anddesigned the hardware module of excavator graphic instrument system.Thirdly, on the basis of the hardware modules, made full use of the GHC(GraphicalDisplay Controller Human Machine Interface Creator) software, C languageprogramming used as the basic research and development to designed excavatorgraphical instrumentation software systems, including the underlying drivers and thepreparation of the upper application. At the same time, analyzed of the functionalcharacteristics of the MB86R03, a detailed introduction and analyzed the keytechnical problems in the development process.Fourthly, studied the engine speed measurement algorithm in excavator thenoptimized the algorithm of speed measurement.Finally, debugged the excavator graphic instrument function module and analyzedthe existed problem, looked forward to the direction of the development ofnext-generation graphics instrument system. In this paper, the chip MB86R03was used as the core of excavator graphicinstrument system, studied the designed method of multilayer image overlaytechnology. To accelerated the development cycle of the instrument system, the GHCsoftware was used to generate graphics library, simultaneously, solved the problemsof graphics flashing and pointer aliasing. Proposed solutions for engine speedmeasurement error. The paper for promoting the domestic construction machineryinstrumentation system upgrade further has a major studied value.
